ORLANDO, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman earned a 5-2 decision over Chicago State women's tennis on Friday (March 15).
Freshman
Carynne Lloyd (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) won in straight sets 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 over Valentina Beresiarte 6-0, 6-2. Chicago State also picked up a win at No. 5 singles. Freshman
Sabrine Navarro (Melbourne, Australia/) rallied 2-6, 6-4, 10-7 to top Maria Dimitrova.

Marnie Perez-Ochoa (Louisville, Ky./Male) and senior
Ruta Grinvalde (Cesis, Latvia/) won at No. 2 doubles 8-5, but Chicago State lost the doubles point.
Bethune-Cookman is now 11-7. Chicago State falls to 4-13. The Cougars have one final match in Orlando, playing Florida A&M on Saturday.
