HOMEWOOD, Ill. – Chicago State women's tennis dropped a 6-1 decision to Drake on Friday (Jan. 25) evening in a non-conference contest.
The only victory of the evening came at No. 1 singles where junior
Karyn Emeralda (Jakarta, Indonesia/) (Jakarta, Indonesia) continued her solid play with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Nell Boyd.
In No. 2 singles, freshman
Carynne Lloyd (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) dropped a three-set decision to Klavdija Rebol 6-7 (4), 6-2, 10-6.
Drake is 1-0 while Chicago State is 0-2. The Cougars host Bowling Green on Sunday (Jan. 27) at 9 a.m.
