CHICAGO – Chicago State women's cross country completed its regular season schedule on Friday afternoon at the Bradley Cross Country Classic at Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Ill.
Freshman Jennifer Sanford (Hammond, IN/Morton) (Hammond, Ind.) paced the Green and White in the six kilometer race by crossing the finish line with a time of 28:43, while junior Jasmine Walker (Capitol Heights, MD/Essex CC) (Capitol Heights, Md.) followed Sanford by recording a time of 29:53.
Junior Markesia Taylor (Chicago, IL/Sullivan) (Chicago, Ill.) was the final Cougar to cross the finish line as she completed the course at a time of 30:10.
CSU heads to Edinburg, Texas on Oct. 30 to compete in the third-annual Great West Conference Championships, hosted by Texas-Pan American.
