Box Score PEORIA, Ill. — Chicago State fell to Bradley 5-0 on Saturday. The Cougars were limited to five shots, including two on goal, while Bradley finished with 29 shots and 15 on frame.
Jabulile Mooketsi turned in a strong performance in goal for Chicago State, recording 10 saves with five in each half. The Cougars spent extended stretches defending Bradley's attacking pressure and put together several scoreless stretches despite the Braves' offensive opportunities.
Bradley finished with 29 shots and 15 shots on goal, but Mooketsi made several saves throughout the match to keep the Cougars within reach. Chicago State also put together a late push while trailing, generating two shots and two corner kicks during the stretch.
Darrien Gates II led Chicago State with two shots and put one on goal. Alexander Mutalibov also placed his lone shot on frame.
Up next, Chicago State travels to North Easton, Mass., to face Stonehill College on Sunday, Sept. 27. Kickoff is set for noon at Skyhawk Field.
