GREEN BAY, Wis. — Chicago State lost to Green Bay 3-0 on Thursday at Aldo Santaga Stadium. CSU was held without a shot in the first half before finishing with four, while Green Bay totaled 28 shots and 12 on goal. The Cougars made eight saves and kept Green Bay scoreless across several extended stretches, but Green Bay scored twice before halftime and once after the break.
 
The Cougars absorbed sustained early pressure, with Sierra Sonko and the defense getting through 10 Green Bay attacking actions from :36 to 12:33 without conceding while the match remained 0-0. Sonko made a save on Aixa Helbringer-Escobar in that stretch, but Jessica Howard scored at 13:01 to put Green Bay ahead 1-0. Chicago State continued defending through more Green Bay chances, including Sonko's save on Grace Downey in the 28th minute. Green Bay added a second goal at 36:05 when Isabella Brozek scored off an Allison Raasch assist, and CSU went into halftime trailing 2-0.
 
The Cougars conceded the only goal of the second half in the 53rd minute, when Claire Paschke scored off Isabella Brozek's assist to put Green Bay ahead 3-0. CSU answered with a stretch of chances, getting shots from Alyssa Owens, Ameerah Kolleff and Alana Garcia between 56:14 and 63:16. Kamila Aguilar kept Chicago State from allowing another goal during a Green Bay push from 58:06 to 69:56, making three saves in that span. Green Bay pressed again late with multiple shots and corners, but Aguilar added saves at 87:00, 87:29 and 88:10, and the Cougars also recorded a team save before the match ended in a 3-0 defeat.
 
Aguilar recorded six saves in 45 minutes, with all six saves coming in the second half. Kolleff led CSU with two shots.
