LOUISVILLE, KY. - Chicago State women's track & field posted solid performances across sprints, distance, hurdles, and field events during open competition.
In the 60 meters, Latonia Johnson finished 46th with a time of 7.86, while Queanna Taylor followed closely in 48th, clocking 7.88. The Cougars also saw strong results in the 60-meter hurdles, led by Katherine Thornton, who placed ninth overall with a time of 8.76. Aliyah Ferguson added a 17th-place finish, crossing the line in 8.92.
On the distance side, Weronika Satnczak competed in the women's mile, recording a time of 5:14.87 to finish 60th in the open section.
In the field events, Bryanna Boroze represented Chicago State in the women's shot put, placing 13th with a mark of 13.09 meters.
