CHICAGO, Ill. - Chicago State student-athletes continue to excel in the classroom with
27 student-athletes across 17 sports achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA) during the Fall 2025 semester while
144 student-athletes earned a GPA between 3.0 and 3.99. In total, 144 student-athletes posted a GPA of a 3.0 or better.
From a team standpoint, 10 Cougars teams posted team GPAs of 3.0 or better, led by women's tennis and men's basketball who posted the top two team GPAs this semester with 3.79 and 3.43 GPAs, respectively. Women's golf (3.37), women's soccer (3.26), men's soccer (3.19), men's golf (3.46), women's volleyball (3.43), women's triathlon (3.49), men's tennis (3.28) and women's basketball (3.15) were the other programs which achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or better.

Whitley Bradley, Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Success. "Their achievements reflect an incredible work ethic and a true passion for representing our university with distinction."
Cougars student-athletes have a long history of succeeding in the classroom and are well represented on the Dean's List, Provost's Honor Roll, President's Honor Roll and the University Honor Roll.
