EVANSTON, IL- The Chicago State men's tennis team kicked off the 2025 spring slate at Northwestern on Sunday. The team dropped the match 6-0 to the Big Ten foe.
Chad Valdes played at No. 1 and took four games off Northwestern's Saiprakash Goli, falling 6-2, 6-2 while Reed Gahagan fell to Greyson Casey, 6-1, 6-1.
The Cougars will look to bounce back against ins-state foe Northern Illinois on FEb. 28 in Dekalb.
