The Chicago State men's and women's cross country teams each placed fifth at the Jaguars Invitational hosted by IU Indianapolis at the Blue River Cross Country Venue in Shelbyville, Indiana Friday morning.
Victor Herrera led the men's team with a time of 35:53.78 while Weroniika Stanczak paced the women with a time of 19:58.11, good for an 11th place overall finish.
The next action for the Cougars will be Friday, October 18 at the Bradley "Pink" Classic in Peoria, Illinois.
