The Chicago State women's soccer team lost to Miami (Ohio) 4-0 in the Cougars final non-conference matchup of the season Thursday night at Gwendolyn Brooks in Chicago. The Cougars will now play 10 consecutive Northeast Conference games, making their NEC debut at home next Thursday (September 19) against Saint Francis.
Chicago State trailed by just one at the half against the Redhawks despite getting out shot 4-0 in the first 45 minutes, Miami scored on a Cougars own goal in the 57th minute before tacking on to more en route to a 4-0 win. CSU had three shots with

Maya Dixon and
Jackie Tamayo each registering one.
The Cougars will be back in action Thursday, September 19, hosting Saint Francis in Chicago State's first Northeast Conference competition since becoming a full member of the NEC July 1. The matchup is set for 7 p.m. at Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep in Chicago.
