The Chicago State women's golf team placed third out of 10 teams at the National Women's Collegiate sponsored by Women in Golf at The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch in Katy, Texas. Howard University earned the tournament title and was the wire-to-wire leader while Delaware State and the Cougars were trading spots on the leaderboard and the Hornets finished four strokes ahead of CSU for second. Koranis Boonmadee made a late charge up the individual leaderboard with a final-round even-par 71 to finish second overall. Her 71 was the low round among all competitors during the three rounds.

The Cougars will be back on the course April 14-16 at the Ohio Valley Conference championship at Tunica National Golf & Tennis in Tunica, Mississippi.
