LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Chicago State University proudly celebrates Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics
Dr. Monique Carroll on being recognized as an Athletic Director of the Year at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Convention on Tuesday.
The prestigious honor recognizes athletics administrators who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment to student-athlete success, and a lasting impact on their institutions and communities.
Since joining Chicago State University, Dr. Carroll has played a pivotal role in elevating the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics through strategic growth, enhanced student-athlete support and increased visibility. Her leadership has guided the department through a transformative period highlighted by competitive success, academic achievement, facility enhancements, and the historic launch of Chicago State Football.

The Athletic Director of the Year Award is one of NACDA's highest honors and recognizes athletics directors who exemplify the highest standards of leadership and service within college athletics.
