The Chicago State men's golf team placed ninth at the 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Men's Golf Championship which concluded today at the Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals golf course in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. OVC All-Newcomer honoree
Pablo Riveiro led Chicago State with a three-round 228 to finish in a tie for 27th overall. Riveiro and
Devin Kucy carded the only below par rounds for the Cougars, both in the second round where Kucy came in at 2-under 70 and Riveiro one shot back at 1-under 71.
The top four teams advance to the match play championship Wednesday where the top qualifier will play the No. 4 seed and No. 2 will play No. 3 with the winners squaring off for the team championship in the afternoon.

The Cougars will be back on the course and close out the season on May 6-8 at PGA Works at TPC Sawgrass ini Jacksonville, Florida.
