The Chicago State men's and women's track and field teams competed at the EIU Big Blue Classic hosted by Eastern Illinois at O'Brien Field in Charleston, Illinois, over the past two days. Top finishers included
Rikki Gray who placed third in both the 100m and 200m dashes, Jovanni Avilla placed third in the 800m,
Mychah Spells placed third in the 110m hurdles and the men's 4x100m relay team of
Maxwell Mitchell,
Nikai McNee,
Malachi Spells and
Willie Merrick also placed third.
