Chicago State junior golfer
Pablo Riveiro shot a 5-over 76 during the final round of the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate and finished third overall while the team maintained their second day spot to finish sixth out of 15 teams. Riveiro entered the day with a one-stroke lead over the field at minus-2 but the final round 76 left him two shots off the lead and one stroke behind the second-place finisher in a tight top of the leaderboard.
Julian Colavecchia shot a first-round 73 and he was the second lowest CSU golfer, finishing in a tie for 39th with a 231 followed by
Devin Kucy who finished tied for 46th with a 233.

The Cougars will be back on the course April 5-6 at the Western Illinois Invitational at TPC Deer Run in Silvis, Illinois.
