Pedro Alvarez and
Zak Radziwillowicz staked CSU to a 3-1 advantage but RU won the the last three matches to pull out the victory.
"Quite disappointing to say the least," head coach
Jack Barton said. "We have to remind ourselves that we have to play every match with the same intensity and focus regardless who is on the other side. Roosevelt played well today and they deserved to win."

The Cougars will enter conference play Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17, hosting Northern Kentucky and IUPUI, respectively. Both matches start at 10 a.m. and will be at H-F Racquet and Fitness in Homewood.
