2022 Spring
• Earned the CSU Athletic Department Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year honor
• Named team MVP following the conclusion of the season
• Named to the Western Athletic Conference First Team Singles All-Conference team, the second in as many seasons. Alvarez was named First Team All-WAC Singles No. 5 and additionally was named Second Team All-WAC Doubles in 2021
• Posted a 10-8 singles record and was 9-12 in doubles (paired with Javier Sanchez Pradillo)
• Went 9-7 at No. 1 singles and 1-1 at No. 2
• Earned Western Athletic Conference Doubles Players of the Week honors with Javier Sanchez Pradillo on January 26 following a comeback victory over Marquette which clinched the doubles point in a 4-3 win, the Cougars first against a Big East school
• Named Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week on February 2 following a pair of victories at No. 1 singles against Eastern Illinois and IUPUI
• Earned Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week on March 2 following a pair of wins against Lindenwood and St. Louis
• Teamed with Javier Sanchez Pradillo to earn Western Athletic Conference Doubles Players of the Week on March 2 following a pair of wins at No. 1 doubles against Lindenwood and St. Louis
• Was 2-3 in singles in Western Athletic Conference matches, picking up wins over Seattle U and UTRGV

2021 Fall

• One of two CSU players (Jakov Suler) to advance into the main draw of the ITA Division I Midwest Regional Championship for the first time in school history
• Had a 17-match win streak snapped with a singles loss at the Vredevelt Invitational
• Went 2-0 in singles at the EIU Panther Hidden Dual and 2-1 in doubles (paired with Javier Sanchez Pradillo)
• Went 2-1 in singles at the Vredevelt Invitational hosted by Western Michigan University and 3-0 in doubles (paired with Javier Sanchez Pradillo)
• Went 2-1 in singles at the Purdue Northwest Invitational
• Went 3-1 in singles at the ITA Division I Midwest Regional Championship and 1-1 in doubles (paired with Javier Sanchez Padillo)
