Jahsean Corbett scored 20 points and Wesley Cardet dropped 15 in a men's basketball 78-55 loss against the South Carolina State Bulldogs Saturday afternoon at the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
The Bulldogs led for most of the first half and racked up a 17-point lead heading into the locker room which pushed them through as they did not slow down in the second and finished the game with a 78-55 victory.
The Cougars return to the hardwood on February 14 in Richmond, Kentucky as they take on Eastern Kentucky University at 6:00 p.m.
