Tae'lor Willard Scores a Season High 23 Points in Home Loss to Idaho

Box Score The Idaho Vandals set the tone with a 16-1 run to open the game then used that momentum to earn an 80-52 victory over the Chicago State women's basketball team Saturday afternoon at the Jones Convocation Center in Chicago. The Vandals lead expanded to 20 before the Cougars ended the first quarter with a 4-0 run and the game stayed in that range through the remainder of the game.

Tae'lor Willard led all scorers and had a season-high 23 points in the loss for the Cougars while Taylor Norris was the only other CSU player in double figures with 11. 

The women will play their second consecutive home game on Wednesday, January 10 at 7 p.m., welcoming Kuyper College to the Jones Convocation Center. Kuyper is a Division II member of the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association and in their first year of competition after adding men's and women's basketball in 2022. KC is currently 8-5 and have won four in a row entering Wednesday's game.
