Grandfather: set a record for the 100-yard dash with a time of 9.4 seconds at Benjamin Franklin High School.
Became a Collegiate All-American athlete.
Secured Big 10 Champion titles.
Won the AAU 100-meter championship.
Qualified for the Olympic trials in the 100-meter dash.
Finished 3rd in the NCAA 60-yard dash in 1965.
Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1966 but chose to play for the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL.
Led teams to six Section V basketball championships and three Section V track and field titles.
Inducted into the Hall of Fame for Section V Track and Field, Football, and Basketball.

What is your dream job? Sports Broadcaster/ Marketing Associate for a Professional Team
Why did you choose Chicago State? The environment my Women’s Basketball staffing had described to me. Which I can say is absolutely true, an extremely close community that loves its students in every way and wants them to succeed!
Do you have a sports hero? Grandfather : Created our family’s legacy
What is your favorite hobby outside of sports? Shopping, Talking, Relaxing/Self Care
What is something you can brag about yourself besides your athletic accomplishments?
Inclusiveness: My ability to step out of athletics and represent in a multitude of lights that can represent the school in a positive way.

What or who motivates you to work hard? My family and friend. Their love and support and kindness to want to succeed in life. Is such a blessing and one I cannot take for granted!
