The Cougars men's and women's cross country teams competed in a large collegiate field Saturday at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational hosted by Loyola University at Montrose Harbor in Chicago. The women finished 11th in a 12-team field led by
Brenda Jepkoech who ran a 23:48.45 6k while the men took third in a three-team field and were led by
Nicholas Negru who ran the 8k course in 25:45.05.

Both the men's and women's teams will be back in action Friday, September 29 at the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria. The men will run an 8k and the women a 6k.
