Chicago State Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Teams Compete at Redbird Invitational

The Chicago State's men's and women's cross country teams competed in their second meet of the season, traveling to Normal, Illinois this afternoon for the Redbird Invitational hosted by Illinois State University at the Weibring Golf Club. The women placed 12th in a 6k race led by Brenda Jepkoech who ran a 25:06.7 to place 74th while the men placed 12th in an 8k race and were led by Nicholas Negru who placed 54th with a time of 26:18.1.

The next action for the men's and women's cross country teams will be Friday, September 15 at the Redbird Invitational in Normal. The men will compete in an 8k race while the women will run a 6k.
