August 31
Women's Soccer
at Valparaiso, 7:30 p.m., Valparaiso, Indiana, Brown Field
The Chicago State women's soccer team is scheduled to travel to Valparaiso, Indiana on Thursday, August 31 to face Valparaiso at 7:30 p.m. at Brown Field. The Cougars enter the contest with a 1-2 mark with freshman Jacquline Tamayo accounting for three goals. The Beacons are 2-1-1 with wins over Eastern Illinois and Northern Illinois with a tie at Kentucky.

September 1
Volleyball
vs. UC Irvine, 12 p.m., Chicago, Illinois, Jones Convocation Center
vs. Jacksonville State, 5 p.m., Chicago, Illinois, Jones Convocation Center
Chicago State's volleyball team will host a four-team tournament September 1-2 at the Jones Convocation Center in Chicago, featuring UC Irvine, Jacksonville State, Southeast Missouri State and the Cougars. CSU will face UC Irvine Friday at 12 p.m. followed by Jacksonville State at 5 p.m. Southeast Missouri State will play Jacksonville State at 2:30 p.m. and the night will be capped by UC Irvine playing SEMO at 7:30 p.m. The complete schedule is listed below.

Men's Soccer
at UAB, 7 p.m., Birmingham, Alabama, Goldfarb Field at Berylson Soccer Park
The Chicago State men's soccer team will play a pair of games in Birmingham, Alabama over the weekend as part of UAB's Soccer for the Cure Tournament, starting with a matchup against UAB on Friday, September 1 at 7 p.m. at Goldfarb Field at Berylson Soccer Park. The Cougars are coming off their first road win since starting the program back up in 2021 with a 3-2 victory at Milwaukee, coming back from a 2-0 deficit to find the back of the net three times in the final nine minutes of the game to escape with a 3-2 victory. UAB is 0-0-1 with a game at Georgia State Monday before hosting CSU Friday.

Men's & Women's Cross Country
at Flyer Flames Challenge host by Lewis University, 6:00 p.m. (women), 6:30 p.m. (men), Romeoville, Illinois, Lewis University Cross Country Course
The Chicago State men's and women's cross country teams will open their seasons on Friday, September 1 at the Flyer Flames Challenge hosted by Lewis University at the Lewis University Cross Country Course in Romeoville. The women are set to run a 4k race beginning at 6 p.m. followed by the men, who are scheduled to compete in a 6k race, at 6:30 p.m.

Volleyball
vs. Southeast Missouri State, 2 p.m., Chicago, Illinois, Jones Convocation Center
Day Two of Chicago State's four-team tournament will conclude on Saturday, September 2. The Cougars will host Southeast Missouri State at 2:30 p.m. in the events final match which will be preceded by Jacksonville State and UC Irvine who are scheduled to start play at 12 p.m.

September 3
Men's Soccer
vs. Belmont, 11:00 a.m., Birmingham, Alabama, Goldfarb Field at Berylson Soccer Park
The Cougars men's soccer team will play their second game in three days, playing a neutral site game as part of UAB's Soccer for the Cure Tournament at Goldfarb Field at Berylson Soccer Park in Birmingham, Alabama against Belmont. Belmont enters the tournament with a 1-0-1 record and will face Houston Christian Friday before facing CSU Sunday.

Women's Soccer
at Bellarmine, 1:00 p.m., Louisville, Kentucky, Owsley B. Frazier Stadium
The Chicago State men's soccer team will open the 2023 season on Thursday, August 24 at home against Bradley at 7 p.m. at Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep in Chicago. The match will also be the season opener for Bradley who finished the season 5-11-3 a season ago.
