Chicago State Women’s Soccer Announces 2023 Schedule

Chicago State head women's soccer coach Joshua Reyes released the Cougars 2023 schedule today. The Cougars will open the season Aug. 17 at home against Purdue Fort Wayne at Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep Academy in Chicago, the site of all home men's and women's matches this season.

The Cougars will play an independent schedule with three home games, Aug. 17 vs. Purdue Fort Wayne, Aug. 20 vs. Western Illinois and Sept. 8 vs. Detroit Mercy and 11 away games, highlighted by regional matches at Valparaiso (Aug. 31) and Eastern Illinois (Sept. 10).

"I'm really looking forward to our 2023 schedule," Reyes said. "It's always exciting to open at home and we'll have an opportunity to start the season with back-to-back home matches against Purdue-Fort Wayne and Western Illinois. From there, it will be nice to have some regional away games along with some competitive games on the East Coast and in the south. I'm ready to get our women on the pitch and get back to competition."
