The Chicago State women's golf team is currently in second place and CSU sophomore Montserrat Ramirez leads the field after the first day of play at The Starks Invite by Farmers hosted by Tennessee State University at the Greystone Golf Club (Par 72, 5,892 yards) in Dickson, Tennessee. Ramirez shot a first-round two-over 74 and holds a two-stroke lead over Kamary Leaf of Bethune-Cookman for the lead. The Cougars trail Bethune-Cookman in the team standings by 17 strokes and hold a one-shot lead over Tennessee State and two strokes better than North Carolina Central.
