The Chicago State men's golf team moved up one spot on the final day of competition to place 12th in the 14-team field at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee Tech at the Sevierville Golf Club River Course (Par 72, 6,891 yards) in Sevierville, Tennessee. The Cougars started the day in 13th but slipped past Maryville College who held a five-stroke lead over CSU but shot a 334 compared to Chicago State's 320.
Defending champion Carson-Newman was the wire-to-wire winner with an 857 (-7), 20 strokes better than runner-up North Georgia who checked in with an 877. Southern Indiana (879), Findlay (885) and Walters State CC (886) rounded out the top 5.
Kieran Hogarth was the low finisher for Chicago State, shooting a three-round 224 (76-72-76), followed by
Payton Dunahee (236),
Clay Wells (238) and
Julian Colavecchia (243).
