Cougars Return to the Court Wednesday in Homewood versus UIC

Box Score The Chicago State women's tennis team lost to Northern Illinois by a count of 7-0 Sunday afternoon at the Park Forest Health and Fitness Club in Park Forest. The Cougars doubles team of Katarina Dukic and Kristina Pukhaeva did win at No. 2 but the Huskies had already wrapped up the team point with wins at No. 1 and 3.

NIU swept the singles matches with only Pukhaeva's match at No. 2 going more than two sets. Complete results listed below.

"The Huskies played very consistent, disciplined tennis today," former Huskies player and current Cougars associate head coach Adesuwa Osabuohien said. "It was interesting to be competing against NIU after playing there. I'm disappointed with our level of focus today. It really cost us a lot. We'll get back to work and hopefully we'll have better results moving forward."

The next action for the Cougars will be Wednesday, March 9 at 10 a.m. against UIC at the H-F Racquet & Fitness Club in Homewood.
