WHAT'S HAPPENING Playing a game originally scheduled for Thursday, Chicago State finally meets Seattle U for a Monday matinee at the Redhawk Center in Seattle. The Cougars continue their first conference roadtrip of the season after taking on California Baptist on Saturday.

ALL-TIME Chicago State and Seattle U have played 20 times, first in 2011 and most recently last January, a 64-39 Seattle win. The Redhawks lead the all-time series, 16-4, and are 1-8 at home. The Cougars last won in February 2019, a 64-61 win in Chicago. The last CSU road win in Seattle was in January 2011, a 74-62 victory.

LAST TIME OUT Against California Baptist, the Cougars managed to pull to within four points with only nine minutes remaining but fell, 73-60, in Riverside. Quentarra Mitchell scored a season-high 21 points, Allysah Boothe nailed a season-high five threes and the Cougars drained 11 total treys, by far the most they'd hit this season. The previous high was five.

SIZING UP THE REDHAWKS Seattle U has yet to play a conference game and enters with a 5-6 record. Due to COVID-19-related postponements, the Redhawks haven't played since December 20, a 61-38 win over Western Oregon. Under sixth-year head coach Suzy Barcomb, the Redhawks are led by guard duo Bree Calhoun and McKenzi Williams, both of whom score 10 points per game.

CLIMBING THE RANKS As just a freshman, former Washington State Player of the Year Aaliyah Collins has taken the conference — and nation — by storm. She leads the Cougars with 15.1 points per game, and her 3.1 steals per game lead the league, a total that ranks 17th in NCAA Division I. Adding to the defensive punch is junior Kyjai Miles, whose 1.2 blocks per game rank fourth in the WAC.
