Max Sandoval fell 6-1, 6-2.
"I'm really happy for Pedro (Alverez) picking up the first win of his career," Barton said. "Javi (Javier Sanchez) also played really well against a good opponent to earn his win. Jakov (Suler) lost in two tiebreakers and Jesus (Perez Plaza) lost on one break of serve. They both played well enough to win, and their opponents earned their wins today."
