CHICAGO – Chicago State Director of Athletics,
Elliott Charles, announced that Rich Gargul will join the Chicago State Athletics Department in the role of assistant athletic director of business operations. Gargul will oversee Chicago State's business operations and serve as a member of the athletic department's senior administration.
"Rich will be an integral member of our leadership team," said Charles. "We look forward to welcoming Rich and his wife Elisa to the CSU Athletics Family."
Gargul brings a varied experience to Chicago State Athletics and has handled business operations for parishes of numerous sizes throughout Illinois and also brings a corporate Fortune 500 financial background. Most recently, Gargul has been serving as the Director of Operations, Business Manager and Controller for Saint Dismas in Waukegan, Ill. Gargul has extensive experience in fiscal management in the areas of developing and directing annual operating budgets, financial forecasting and accounting.
