Chicago State Announces Change in Leadership of Women’s Basketball Program

Chicago, Ill. – Chicago State will begin a search for a new women's basketball head coach, as Misty Opat will not return, as announced by Chicago State athletics director, Elliott Charles.
 
"We thank Misty for her hard work and wish her well in all of her future endeavors."
 
Assistant coach Gregory Ray will serve as interim head coach. Chicago State will begin a national search immediately.
