Chicago State soccer finishes its 2019 road season with a pair of west coast matches at Grand Canyon (Oct. 24) and California State Bakersfield (Oct. 26).

The Cougars (0-16, 0-5 WAC) take on the Lopes (3-11-1, 2-3 WAC) in Phoenix, Ariz., at 7 p.m. (MST), and the Roadrunners (7-9-1, 2-4 WAC) in Bakersfield, Calif. At 7 p.m. (PST).

Last time out, Cougar rookie Marissa Beale (Frazier Park, CA/Bakerfield Christian) scored the lone CSU goal against the New Mexico State Aggies (Oct. 20), from Barbara Castellanos (West Chicago, IL/West Chicago Community High School), at the 45:36 mark, giving the home team the 1-0 advantage until the 85th minute, when the Aggies knotted the score at one.

In extra time, NMSU's Eliudth Gonzalez slide in the go-ahead goal at the 97:54 mark, securing the 2-1 Aggie victory.

Judith Sorrribes sent the entire weekend in the net, earning 22 saves, adding to her NCAA second-best season total of 126 saves.

Rookie Barbara Castellanos (West Chicago, IL/West Chicago Community High School) leads the Cougars with three goals and one assist while sophomore goalkeeper Judith Sorribes (Barcelona, Spain/Bisbe Berenguer) has started 11 of the 16 games allowing 54 goals with 125 saves.

GCU
The Lopes who currently sit tied for fifth-place in the WAC are led by Emma Anderson, Camryn Larson, and Jaycee Iranshad who each have score two goals on the season, and Freshman goalkeeper Lauren Garthwaite who set a new GCU Division I single-game saves record with 16 on the year.

CSUB
The Roadrunners, also tied for fifth in the league, are led offensively by Eszter Toth and Jordan Martinez' four goals, and Andrea Neves' 59 saves.
