• Who most influenced your athletic career? My dad was my biggest influence. Growing up my  dad would say “hard work pays off.” This has always been my motto and it reminds me to keep pushing my limits.
• Why did you choose Chicago State? I’ve lived in a small town so being in the city would be a  change of scenery. I also enjoy the cold more than the heat. I have a lot of family in Chicago 
•Significance to your number: My senior year of high school, I was on the softball team but couldn’t  be the number 10 because someone already had it. I was given the number 16 after that. When 16  was offered to me at CSU I felt like it was a sign for a new beginning and that change was coming.
