CHICAGO – Chicago State volleyball rookie
Josi Borum (Sterling, IL ) now ranks fourth in the NCAA for triple-doubles as the setter/outside hitter recorded her third kill/assist/dig double-digit performance of the season, during a 3-0 loss to the top-rank Western Athletic Conference (WAC) New Mexico State Aggies, Saturday at home.
New Mexico State kept its undefeated conference record intact after a 25-22, 25-18, 25-18 victory over the host Cougars.
CSU returns to action on Thursday, Oct. 24 as the Cougars travel to Phoenix, Ariz., to face Grand Canyon in a WAC match-up at 8 p.m.
CSU HIGHLIGHTS & STATS:
- Borum led the Cougars with 10 kills, while adding 12 assists and 10 digs.

Beatriz Palmieri (Ribeirao Preto, Sao Paulo, Brazil/Professora Carlina Cacapava de Mello) trailed Borum, finishing a kill short of a double-double with nine kills and ten digs and earned a match-high four service aces, while
Lacee Adams (Muncie, Ind./Muncie Central) had a team-best 19 assists.

Megan Klavitter (Fenton, MI) tallied nine digs and Palmieri collected three blocks.
