The Wolverines opened the game with a 22-5 run in the opening eight minutes of the first half en route to taking a 50-26 halftime lead to coast to the victory. CSU went on to hold an 11-9 advantage in steals over UVU for the contest.

Junior Fred Sims, Jr. (Chicago, Ill./North Lawndale) scored 17 points to lead the Green and White. Senior Deionte Simmons (Detroit, Mich./Lewisville (Texas)) added 10 points, and senior Glen Burns (West Memphis, Ark./West Memphis Christian) contributed eight points, six rebounds and two assists.
