SCOUTING UMKC – UMKC enters this Saturday's contest sporting a record of 6-17 on the season with a 1-9 mark in conference play and looks to snap a six-game losing streak after falling to Utah Valley (39-58) and Seattle U (52-74) on the road last weekend. Junior guard Samantha Waldron is averaging 12.6 points and a steal per game to pace UMKC followed by redshirt sophomore forward Kristin Moore's scoring average of 10.6 points a game. Junior forward Kiana Law leads the team in rebounding with 6.3 rebounds a game, while senior guard Ceidra Coleman and redshirt junior guard India Johnson are tied for the team's assist lead as both players are dishing out a total of 44 assists.

SERIES HISTORY – Chicago State and UMKC will meet on the hardwood for the 40th meeting in their all-time series with the Kangaroos holding a 30-9 advantage. Both teams split last season's series with each team winning on its respective home floor that includes UMKC capturing a 67-50 win in Kansas City on March 5, 2016.
