The second half started with the Green and White producing a 24-9 scoring run over nine minutes with Simmons scoring nine of those points to slice their deficit to 57-48 following a layup from junior Anthony Harris (Gary, Ind./Griffith (Ind.)) with 10:18 remaining in the stanza.
