Cougars Close Out Short Road Swing at Northwestern

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Chicago State men's basketball closed out its short two-game road swing after falling to host Northwestern by a score of 96-31 here tonight at Allstate Arena.
 
NU opened the game with 15 unanswered points in the first four minutes and would cruise to the win.
 
Freshman Cameron Bowles (Chicago, Ill./Kenwood) tallied a season-high eight points to lead the Green and White, while redshirt senior Jelani Pruitt (Gary, Ind./Merrillville (Ind.)) finished the game with seven points and six rebounds.
 
The Wildcats had five players that scored in double figures with Vic Law tallying a game-high 18 points.
 
CSU makes its first regular-season appearance at the Jacoby Dickens Center in six years on Saturday afternoon as it hosts Bradley in the school's 150th Anniversary Throwback Game live on the WAC Digital Network beginning at 2:05 p.m.
