Preview: WAC Women's Basketball Tournament

CHICAGO, IL-  Chicago State Women's basketball team is heading to the Western Athletic Conference Touranment as the #7 seed. They are set to play against the #2 California State University Bakersfield on Wednesday, March 11th at 2:30pm CDT (4:30pm PDT).

The Cougars were swept by the Roadrunners during the regular season.  The Cougars lost 83-58 at the Icardo Center in Bakersfield against the Roadrunners on Satutday, January 24th. Then the Roadrunners came into Chicago on Thursday, February 19th and beat the Cougars 87-53. 

The winner is going to be playing against the winner of game 3: #3 Texas-Pan American vs. #6 Missouri-Kansas City on Friday, March 13th at 6:30 CDT (4:30pm PDT).,

All the games can be watched on the WAC Digital Network through the WAC website. 

The WAC Championship is set for Saturday, March 14th at 3pm CDT (1pm PDT).

Coach Jackson and the Cougars had a walk-through before they headed to Vegas later that afternoon on Tuesday, March 10th.
