COUGARS DOWN NORTH CENTRAL 9-0

Feb. 26, 2015 – Chicago State University men's tennis crusied as they defeated North Central College Thursday evening by a 9-0 score inside the Res/Rec Center.

Starting the evening with doubles play, the Cougars (3-11) swept all three matches as Christian Gonzalez (Mungia, Spain/Larramendi Ikastola) and Julian Chavez (Bogota, Colombia) defeated Connor Sass and Ryan Doeckel at the No. 2 position.

In singles play, Chicago State claimed all six matches in straight sets, taking advantage of a multitude of North Central Cardinal unforced errors.

The Cougars look to continue their winning streak as they head to Eastern Illinois February 28th.
