Chicago State Men's Tennis lost 7-0 against The University of Louisville at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center Wednesday evening.

Louisville grabbed the first point by sweeping all three doubles matches.
Sebastian Stiefelmeyer and Van Damrongsri teamed to beat Mario Noboa (Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Ecuador) and Sergui Muresan 6-2 at No.1 doubles. Alex Gornet and Chris Simich defeated Julian Chavez (Bogota, Colombia) and Rashley Yeremia (Jakarta, Indonesia) 6-2, at No. 2. Pally Ray and Courtney Lock completed the doubles sweep with a 6-5 (7-3) win over Christian Gonzalez (Mungia, Spain/Larramendi Ikastola) and Rohan Wattley (Slough, United Kingdom/Burnham) at No.3 spot.

The Cougars lost all the singles matches, as the Cardinals picked up the next six points with straight set wins. Simich defeated Julian Chavez (Bogota, Colombia) 6-0, 6-1 on court three. Gornet beat Mario Noboa (Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Ecuador) 6-0, 6-0 at the No. two position. On court five, Santiago Salazar's 6-0, 6-3 win over Christian Gonzalez (Mungia, Spain/Larramendi Ikastola) clinched the match for the Cardinals. Damrongsri took down Rashley Yeremia (Jakarta, Indonesia) 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4. Sebastian Stiefelmeyer beat Sergiu Muresan (Roman, Romania) 6-0, 6-4 at the top seed and Ray closed the match with a 6-2, 6-2 decision over Rohan Wattley (Slough, United Kingdom/Burnham) at the No. 6 spot.
