Sergiu Muresan (Roman, Romania/) won all four of his matches today (April 6) as the Chicago State men's tennis team split their doubleheader, losing to the IUPUI Jaguars 6-1 and defeating the Judson Eagles 5-2.

Rashley Yeremia (Jakarta, Indonesia/) lost in a tiebreaker in the first set before falling 7-6, 6-2 to Akshay Verma. Manuel Laboy upended freshman
Uros Pajic (Smederevo, Seribia/Maple Valley) 6-2, 6-3.
In doubles, Muresan and Yeremia had an 8-6 win over Jaruvang and Laboy. The Jaguars took the other two doubles matches to take the doubles point.
Chicago State 5, Judson 2HTML BoxThe Cougars picked up their fifth win of the season by taking four singles matches and the doubles point in the victory over Judson.
Muresan shut out Tyler Kerley at No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0. Chavez dropped one game, winning 6-0, 6-1 over Kyle Price. Noboa defeated Reilly Good 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1 singles. Yeremia took down Andrew Moment 6-1, 7-5.
The Eagles picked up their two points in singles as Balase was victorious over Ulloa 6-2, 5-7, 10-6. Ian Harris scored a default victory at No. 6 singles as Pajic couldn't play because of an injury.
CSU took two of the three matches for the doubles point. Muresan and Yeremia shut out Price and Kerley 8-0. Ulloa and Noboa won 8-7 over Jonathan Moment and Balase. Andrew Moment and Reilly Good beat Pajic and Chavez after Pajic was injured and couldn't continue.
Jack Barton's squad saw their record go to 5-19 on the season while IUPUI improved to 4-15 and Judson fell to 2-6. The Cougars will head to Western Illinois to take on the Leathernecks next Sunday (April 13) with the match scheduled for 10:00 a.m..
