Box Score The Cougars could not get into an offensive rhythm as Wright State earned a 81-40 win Monday night at WSU's Nutter Center.
WSU jumped out to a 23-7 lead eight minutes into the contest and eventually went up 41-18 at the half as the Raiders shot 41 percent for the period from the field, while the Cougars shot 32 percent.
The Raiders shot 39 percent for the game overall, 12 of 34 from behind the arc, and hit 11 of 15 foul shots while CSU shot 29 percent altogether and was only three of 11 from three-point range.Â
Tay'ler Mingo led Wright State with 17 points while Ciara Patterson had 14 points and Lexi Smith 11 in the victory.Â
Layne Murphy (Country Club Hills, Ill./Rich Central) paced the Cougars with 16 points and nine rebounds.Â
Konner Harris (Sidney, Ohio/Sidney) added 11points to the effort.Â
