Cougars Travel West To Take On New Mexico State

CONFERENCE HISTORY -

This will be Chicago State's first season in the WAC after spending the previous four seasons in the Great West Conference. The Cougars were an independent from 2006-09 after 12 seasons in the Summit League. Prior to their time in the Summit, Chicago State spent one season in the East Coast League (1993-94) and their first seven years in Division I as an independent.

CHICAGO THREE PARTY - 

Tierra Williams (Detroit, Mich./Lathrup) has had at least one three-pointer in 23 of her last 28 games.Her 104 career three-pointers rank sixth in the program's history.

Konner Harris (Sidney, Ohio/Sidney) has made at least one three-pointer in her last 15 games.

Tierra Williams (Detroit, Mich./Lathrup) has at least one steal in 21 of her last 26 games.

Paris Williams (St. Louis, Mo./Pattonville) has at least one steal in 32 of her last 38 games and at least two steals in 16 of her last 21.

Chicago State has had at least eight steals in 21 of their last 26 games.

Paris Williams (St. Louis, Mo./Pattonville) leads the WAC in steals per game (2.6) while Jasmine Sanders (Country Club Hills, Ill./Hillcrest) ranks third (2.1) and Tierra Williams (Detroit, Mich./Lathrup) ranks sixth (1.8).

Layne Murphy (Country Club Hills, Ill./Rich Central) has 10 blocks in her last eight games. She's five shy of 50 for her career. 

DOING IT ALL  - 

Tierra Williams (Detroit, Mich./Lathrup) has scored at least 10 points and grabbed five rebounds in six of her last seven games. Since the beginning of last year, she's scored at least ten points in 56.6 percent of the games she played in.

For the first time in her career, Layne Murphy (Country Club Hills, Ill./Rich Central) has had at least ten points in six straight games. She is averaging 6.6 rebounds during that span.
