CSU Women's Basketball Begins Homestand Vs. Wright State

CONFERENCE HISTORY -

This will be Chicago State's first season in the WAC after spending the previous four seasons in the Great West Conference. The Cougars were an independent from 2006-09 after 12 seasons in the Summit League. Prior to their time in the Summit, Chicago State spent one season in the East Coast League (1993-94) and their first seven years in Division I as an independent.

ONE OF THE BEST -

Paris Williams (St. Louis, Mo./Pattonville) leads the WAC in steals (3.3) and ranks 7th in points per game (14.2). She is the only player in the WAC to average at least 14.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game.

Tierra Williams (Detroit, Mich./Lathrup) has had at least one three-pointer in 19 of her last 22 games.

Konner Harris (Sidney, Ohio/Sidney) has made at least one three-pointer in her last nine games.

GETTING BETTER - 

Tierra Williams (Detroit, Mich./Lathrup) scored more points as a sophomore (296) than as a freshman (201) as did Chanel Wilson-Stewart (Hillside, Ill./St. Joseph's) (99-74).

The Cougars have at least one block in 125 of their last 134 games dating back to the 2009-10 season and at least two blocks in 15 of their last 19 games.
