OMAHA, Neb. – Junior Jeremy Robinson (Decatur, Ill./Eisenhower) (Decatur, Ill.) scored 20 points with game highs of eight rebounds and three blocked shots as Chicago State men's basketball fell to host Creighton by a score of 95-61 in a Dale Howard Classic preliminary game Sunday afternoon at CU's Century Link Center.
Freshman Jacobby Anderson (Springfield, IL/Southeast) (Springfield, Ill.) added 12 points of 5-of-6 shooting and connected on 2-of-3 from three-point range, and sophomore Aaron Williams (Chicago, Ill./Chicago Vocational) (Chicago, Ill.) recorded eight points and five rebounds.
Sophomore Doug McDermott tallied a game-high 21 points and tied Robinson for game high rebounding honors with eight to pace Creighton.
The Cougars return to action on Saturday, Nov. 19 with another Dale Howard Classic contest at North Carolina A&T with the tip-off set for 6 p.m.
