Dylan Riley

The Chicago State volleyball program hired Dylan Riley as assistant coach on August 16, 2022.

Riley joins Chicago State from Rockhurst University (Division II) in Kansas City, Missouri, where he had served as an assistant volleyball coach since October 2020. Last season, Riley helped power Rockhurst to a 20-12 record in a season that ended with an appearance in the NCAA Midwest Regional.

While at Rockhurst, Riley coached three GLVC All-Conference players and 20 Academic All-GLVC Student-Athletes.

Previously, Riley was a graduate assistant with the men’s volleyball program at Purdue University Fort Wayne, where he coached three all-conference players, an AVCA All-American and 10 Academic All-Conference Student-Athletes.

Riley attended Park University in Parkville, Missouri, where he won a 2017 NAIA National Championship on the men’s volleyball team. At Park, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Riley also attended Ottawa University and MCC-Longview Community College, where he played baseball for two seasons.
