Tramaine Stevens was named assistant men’s basketball coach/recruiting coordinator August 11, 2021.
 
Stevens also joins the Cougars with an accomplished resume as a high school coach. He was the head varsity coach at Miramar High School (Miami, Florida) and compiled a record of 111-44 in six seasons (2015-21). He was named Florida 7A Dairy Farms Coach of the Year, Sun Sentinel Coach of the Year, Miami Herald Coach of the Year and Broward County Coach of the Year following the 2019-20 season when he led his squad to a 24-6 record, a 7A Florida state championship. That squad also won the Tarkanian Classic Championship in Las Vegas. Stevens was also named Broward County Coach of the Year following the 2017-18 season when his team won the BCAA Big 8, earned district and regional championships and advanced to the state tournament final four.
