Pre-CSU: Appeared in 26 games and started 20 times in his final season at Miles College, an NCAA Division II school out of Fairfield, Ala… averaged 6.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots a game during the 2010-11 campaign… ranked 37th nationally in blocks per game… tallied 14 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks versus Concordia-Selma … posted 12 points eight rebounds and a season-best five blocked shots at LeMoyne-Owen… notched nine boards and eight points at Fort Valley State… equaled season high for blocks with five swats versus Tuskegee... also competed in the high jump for the Miles’ men’s track & field team.

Prep: Lettered for two seasons as a forward/center at Thornwood High School in South Holland, Ill… averaged 8.2 points, eight rebounds, two assists and 1.7 blocked shots a game during his senior season in 2006-07… also earned letters in track and football at Thornwood… earned conference and sectional titles in the high jump individually and as a member of three relay teams (4x100, 4x200 and 4x400)… helped the THS 4x100 relay team place fourth in state.
