CHICAGO – Chicago State University Athletics has announced kickoff times for all five home games during the Cougars' historic inaugural football season at SeatGeek Stadium.
The 2026 campaign marks the beginning of a new era for Chicago State Athletics as the Cougars take the field for the first time in program history. Fans will have five opportunities to witness history on the South Side while enjoying a schedule that features afternoon and evening kickoffs throughout the fall.
The Cougars will officially kick off the inaugural season on Saturday, Aug. 29, hosting Roosevelt University at 12 p.m. in the first football game in Chicago State history.
Chicago State returns home on Saturday, Sept. 12, welcoming Kentucky Christian University for another 12 p.m. kickoff before hosting Norfolk State University under the lights on Saturday, Sept. 26, with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m.
Homecoming Weekend arrives on Saturday, Oct. 31, as the Cougars face the University of Fort Lauderdale at 2 p.m., before concluding the home schedule on Saturday, Nov. 14, against Virginia University of Lynchburg at 12 p.m.
